EDS Update: Navigating the Blockchain Surge — Adjustments to Fee Structures & Our Continuous Commitment to You

Firstly, we extend our deepest gratitude to you for the unwavering faith you’ve shown in our products. Your trust and support are the pillars that continue to propel us forward.

In light of the recent uptick in Bitcoin blockchain activity, largely influenced by the growing fascination around Bitcoin Ordinals and BRC-20s, we’ve encountered a few challenges. While this heightened interest bodes well for Bitcoin and blockchain technology at large, it also leads to some complications. The most notable challenge we’ve faced is the sudden surge in transaction fees, causing network congestion and inevitable delays in our processes. In order to navigate this evolving landscape, we regretfully find it necessary to increase the withdrawal fees on the Counterparty blockchain from 2.5 to 12 BitCrystals.

On the brighter side, we’re pleased to announce that our thorough analysis of the Ethereum blockchain withdrawal fees has enabled us to reduce them from 150 to 133 BitCrystals, a move we hope will provide some relief. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.
